Welcome to the new-look site. I hope that you find this design a little bit more pleasant to the eye than the old one! At the moment, it's a bit of a hybrid of the old and new, but bear with me until it's all ported to this shiny new format!

At the moment, this site covers my application programs "DonkeyProg" and the soon-to-be-released DonkeyProg eXtended Edition (DPXE). It is intended that it will cover a whole lot more in due course, when time permits.

Speaking of time, I must make it abundantly clear that I write these programs and maintain this Web Site and the associated blog strictly as a hobby activity. I do not gain any financial benefits from doing this, it's a labour of love, so to speak. All my applications are available for you to download and use completely free of charge - all I ask of you is that you respect this, and do not expect the level of technical support that you might expect from a company to whom you'd paid good money. That said, I won't leave you high and dry, but do bear in mind that my time is extremely limited, and I have a lot of things competing for that valuable resource...

Please do not contact me regarding technical support on the DIY range of programmers - I have no official connection with the company and cannot help you. DIY do however maintain a user forum/message board which can be found by following the links on their website at http://www.kitsrus.com . The same applies for clones or homebrew copies of these programmers, except that you won't be welcome at the DIY forum either!

A last word on DonkeyProg and DIY programmer support - At the moment, I have no plans to support the K128 or K182 devices. These are USB powered, flash-only units which are a real dog to work with, and I'd like to keep things as simple as possible. So DonkeyProg is currently available only for the K149 and K150 externally powered, Flash/OTP/EE programmers. However, the source code for the DonkeyProg firmware is freely available - If you manage to make it work with K128/182 then please let me have a copy to share with everyone, full credit will naturally be given.
