From now on, the saga of MP2 will be chronicled in my blog - you can find it here.
However, I haven't mastered inserting pictures yet (bear with me), so I'm putting a set of current screenshots on this page...
I've left the previous screenshots below, because they still give some information about the way MP2 works in "Native" mode. The two screenshots immediately below this text show how MP2 looks at 20th Jan 2006 at Alpha release 0.03. The top picture shows "MicroPro compatibility" mode, the bottom shows "Native" mode with Tabbed windows. Apart from the colours, "Native" mode with standard windows looks like the other screenshots.

1) The application, started for the first time.

2)Open a new clean document (hex file) for editing - select the chip... This illustrates the "Quick find" dialog, useful for finding a specific chip in a large list without endless scrolling of the drop down selector.

3) We have 2 hex files open here - the one we created earlier and one loaded from a file. The side bar shows the settings, placement etc. for the document that currently has the focus.

4) The same view, but with the focus on the other document...

5) Showing the "Global Options" dialog...

6) Finally, if you don't like the default appearance, you can move the control bars around, like this... (shown against the desktop wallpaper)
